Featuring guest speaker:

Mario Mendes, MD, PhD
Professor in Residence of Neurology and Psychiatry & Bio-Behavioral Sciences
UCLA School of Medicine

Dr. Mendez is a behavioral neurologist with extensive publications in the area of cognition and neurodegenerative disease.  He is a member and on the board of several of scientific professional organizations.  Currently he is on the Medical Advisory Board of Association for Frontotemporal Dementia and a member of the NIH committee working on the improvement of the clinical criteria for FTD and related syndromes.  Dr. Mendez will provide an overview of the clinical and treatment aspects of Frontotemporal Dementia, young onset Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia with Lewy Bodies.
