SUPPORT FOR OLDER ADULTS WITH MEMORY LOSS AND THEIR FAMILIES

Increasing Concern and Awareness

Tallulah is seven. Her grandpa has dementia. This past weekend she spent her Saturday in support of OPICA, a nonprofit agency that supports her grandpa and lots of people with dementia. Her motivation to earn $152 in support of #ENDALZ is proof of our nation’s increased clemonaidoncern and awareness about Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

At the heart of this nationwide discussion, Alzheimer’s Association is dedicated to being a reliable resource and advocate, recipients of over $350 million in donations last year, used to support community’s efforts and research. OPICA proudly joins this charge to increase awareness with our #KNOWMORE blogs, by being a resource to families, and by providing programs that ensure the dignity of persons battling the disease.
